Hello my blogger followers. Probably thought I'd closed down entirely, right? Nope. Just winter-time combined with working now eating into my ride time. No riding means no riding news which means no updates here...yep, that's how it goes.
Anyway, Spring is in the air and Ruby's been calling from the garage. She told me she wanted to spend the night someplace new. It seems daytime rides are okay with her, but nothing beats waking up in a strange town she says.
So, to please her so she hopefully never leaves me stranded on the side of the road, I'm taking her for an overnight run to Death Valley (I hear the weather's about perfect up there right now). The bad news is that due to Assistant Director problems, Tracey can't make this ride with us. Don't worry though, I won't be completely alone because my buddy, Mike, will be accompanying Ruby and I. Lucky for him, Ruby's not an arrogant Harley girl and is comfortable riding with other makes of motorcycles. hahaha
As though who follow this blog know, we lost a saddlebag on an earlier trip (for those not familiar, read Tracey's Birthday Ride - ALL 10 CHAPTERS). I bought new bags for the Raider so at least I have a recent picture of something new to share. More pics to come once we finish the Death Valley Ride....talk to ya soon.
