So Tracey and I took a Memorial Day ride up to the Rock Store for breakfast, then rode up Pacific Coast Highway (from here on simply referred to as "PCH," so deal with it), then caught Hwy 101 and 405 back home.
A 130-mile trip that began at 60 degrees, then dropped to mid-50s from Zuma Beach on because of heavy fog. However, by the time we got to Calabassas on the 101, the temp was up to 94. Back in El Segundo again, and the temperature was a very comfortable 70.
How's that for a temperature swing on one ride?!?!? Gotta love living in Southern California.
