Here's what she's gonna look like for the ride to Kansas City. We're close enough to D-Day (that's departure day for us) that we can look at the weather on the day we leave. Freakin' 102 degrees for our desert portion of the ride...HEE HAW!!! The good news is there aren't any major storm fronts moving through --- that means just the occasional tornado across Kansas and Missouri, huh?
What I really noticed about the weather for our ride though, is the temperature swing we can look forward to. Let's see, 102 in Needles, CA but a low of 41 at our first night's stop (Williams, AZ) ------ that's 61 freakin' degrees people!!!! How the hell do we plan what to wear? Oh, I see, just pack like you're going to Lake Tahoe to ski...the beach to surf....Palm Springs to roast in the sun, then go storm chasing. You tell me what to pack on a motorcycle for that much diversity!!!! This is gonna be sooooooooooooo much fun!!!!
