Tracey and I are officially 2-Up motorcycle riders now! Once I got comfortable enough on the beast we lovingly call Ruby (2008 Yamaha Raider), it was time to put very precious cargo on-board (that would be Tracey) and see how we like riding together.
The results are in ------ WE LOVE IT!!!! In fact, we enjoy it so much that we've decided to take a cross-country journey from Los Angeles to Kansas City together mid-June of this year.
And THAT is why this blog began...we thought it would be just too much fun to have a journal of our journey. This blog begins with our preparation and purchases for this epic journey, and will continue throughout the trip. How long after this vacation the blog remains active will depend entirely on how much we enjoy the ride. We're both betting the entries will continue as we travel all over America on the back of Ruby.
